Road Trip Iowa watch party featuring the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway

The public is invited to join Iowa PBS on Wednesday, June 11, at History Boy Theatre Company in Jefferson for a watch party featuring the final episode from season 2 of Road Trip Iowa. In season 2 of the series, Iowa PBS continues the adventure across Iowa’s scenic byways, exploring the state’s hidden gems, historic landmarks and natural beauty.

This season finale watch party will feature the western stretch of Iowa’s Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway. From Boone County to Council Bluffs, the episode will highlight the tranquil landscapes, community spirit and proud history of the area, with stops at the many hidden gems along the way.

The evening will kick off with a reception and light refreshments at 6 pm. The watch party will begin at 6:30 pm, with a special game of episode BINGO to add some extra fun as we journey along the Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway together.

“We’re thrilled to hit the road and connect with communities along Iowa’s scenic byways,” said Iowa PBS engagement manager Caryline Clark. “These events are a fun way to celebrate the places and stories that make our state special, and we can’t wait to share the new season of Road Trip Iowa with our audience.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate Iowa’s beauty and history. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. For more information and to register, visit iowapbs.org/events.
